gallbladders,,blaaah

please pray for Grace she is getting her gallbladder out tomorrow, i know the LORD is gonna help but we need your prayers.

where in the world have I been?

Well sorry it's been so long, I kind of got INVOLVED in Facebook.....I love that spot!!
we have had a great first quarter of the year, Grace is babysitting our neice and working some for my brother at his chickfila.
I am working and running kids around.
I am home today(Sunday March 29) because Lilly got a migraine and had to come home from church and sleep it off.
Grace had her prom this weekend, she was just beautiful and had a wonderful time!!
J.D. has just been his 8 year old boy self. He usually just hangs with the girls and does whatever we do, but his baseball season is getting started, so we will be busy with that!
Well, just wanted to post a tiny bit since I was so behind.
I hope you all have had a good first part of the year,,,maybe I will post more often.

today I felt much better, I worked today but it wasn't very busy!
So we had a really good day.

Thankful I am alive

well Thanksgiving wasn't so great!!! Grace and I either had the stomach bug or we had a food borne illnes. We kind of lean toward the food illness. We had leftover potato casserole, and it had us, we think for about 2 days. In the early hours of Thanksgiving day Grace woke me up with it coming out the "attic" and I thought I would be ok. Then as the morning proceeded, I began to have problems in the "basement" and very sick. We both were running fevers and aching. So we laid on the couch and recliners and slept Thanksgiving 2008 away. Meanwhile the other healthy family members went to my brother Will's house in Madison and had family Thanksgiving Dinner. I am thankful that noone else got what we had. I am still weak today but feeling better by the hours. I at least ate something today and didn't get sick.
Grace has struggled with weakness too but we are getting our strength. I think we were dehydrated.
Well I hope your Thanksgiving was much better , but we may have dinner tomorrow night at Cracker Barrell during the Al. Au game. Roll Tide but I don't care to watch it. Just let me know who wins in the end:)

Seems like things are so weekly, we do the same things every week. But these nights are so long!!!This dst gets to me sometimes.

I worked today and at Chickfila we make a lot of friends and have made some emotional connections to alot of them. In our chick family this week we have had some really tough times. One of the ladies that works in the mall, Mrs. Watson, her only grandchild was killed last weekend in a horrible car accident, he was 21. She showed me his picture and just poured her heart out and made she and I both cry. Then Ms. Judy came in today and she and have just connected way back, she works in the mall also. She told me she had bad news today. Her blood is so low it's dangerous. They do not know where it's going but she is severly anemic. She has had cancer and many other health needs, but she is just so worried that something is really bad wrong. She asked me to pray for her today. Sooo , saying that, if you get to read this please pray for Mrs. Watson and Ms. Judy. I feel honored that they would ask me to pray for them, but I have come to really love them and it hurts me when they hurt:*(
I know that is why the Lord has me where I am right now, to minister to so many. I have many friends.
